The Association was created in 1976 to develop and promote trade, investment and friendly ties between Japan and
seven states.
On a rotational basis, each of the seven member states assumes leadership of SEUS/Japan for a two-year term.
Members include top business leaders and government officials.

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® strives to be the collective force influencing and shaping the real
estate industry. It seeks to be the leading advocate of the right to own, use, and transfer real property.
Founded in 1908, NAR has grown from its original nucleus of 120, to over 800,000 members today. REALTORS® are
involved in residential and commercial real estate as brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, counselors and
others. Elizabeth Belenchia has been elected 8 times to the National
Association of Realtors.
Committee goals include assisting in the process of positioning REALTORS® and REALTOR® associations in the
forefront of the legal and policy debate on Smart Growth issues and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) at the

The SIOR Educational Foundation's (SIOREF) mission is
to promote, sponsor, and support education research initiatives that advance professionalism in the commercial real estate
industry.
SIOREF is a non-profit foundation, independent of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®. Established in
1962 to publish the industry’s first graduate-level textbook on industrial real estate, SIOREF has maintained its
dedication to expanding understanding of the commercial real estate industry.

conferences, symposia and short courses each year in a wide variety of fields.

quality state-of-the art continuing education, both in its public programs and in its in-house training.

of Government Affairs Committee The
purpose of this committee is to monitor and recommend actions and
strategies on legislative and regulatory matters affecting the
development, sale, transfer and value of real estate, such as indoor air
quality, hazardous substances, wetlands and coastal development,
lead-based paint, flood plain management, and the availability and
protection of water supplies.
Appointed
by SIOR as International Advisory Council Responsible
for expanding membership internationally and will be seeking Qualified
Industrial Specialists.
